FBI 指控：舊金山華裔市長收賄

美國加州華裔州參議員余胤良貪汙及洗黑錢案被告之一的律師指出，聯邦調查局（FBI）指控舊金山市首位民選華裔市長李孟賢（Edwin Lee）收取賄賂且濫用職權。但李孟賢的發言人否認有任何不法，並說已做過內部調查。
周國祥（綽號蝦仔）原是舊金山華埠五洲洪門致公總堂會長，被控洗黑錢及走私菸草，去年在FBI結束多年調查後被捕；加州首位華裔州參議員余胤良也捲入此案。周國祥並未認罪，余胤良則在上月坦承違法斂財。
法庭文件顯示，周國祥委任的律師布里格斯引據政府轉交的FBI文件指出，李孟賢收取賄賂，以自己的影響力作為交換。布里格斯說，檢方單挑周國祥起訴，卻放過其他涉案人士，正尋求撤銷控告。
李孟賢發言人強森則表示，訴訟中並沒指控李在2011年11月的市長競選活動做過任何違法之事。強森又說，競選團隊曾從事徹底稽核，未發現任何支持不利市長或團隊之指控的證據。而布里格斯呈堂文件亦未顯示李孟賢直接要求或收取賄賂。
FBI指控致公堂為斂財黑幫，其臥底探員曾透過該組織的地下賭場，將260萬美元的非法投注金「洗淨」。
FBI於2013年派出臥底探員假扮商人，余胤良曾試圖要該名臥底擔任中間人，向全國美式足球聯盟（NFL）某球會的班主索取金錢，換取他支持通過法規，令球員難以向球團索取補償金。臥底探員在李孟賢2011年競選市長期間，也曾捐款給他作為試探。
